How to create a filter for other elements (e.g. info, say, do)

The creation of the filter is exactly the same as described for questions and section, but accessing the filter builder may be slightly different:

Info element    

• Select and highlight the info-element,
• Open the Filter builder from the options and specifications menu.

Supplementary question text

• Exactly the same procedure as for a Info element

Do (Interviewer instruction)

• Exactly the same procedure as for a Info element

Row

• Exactly the same procedure as for a Info element.

Note: Rows may only be filtered by the filter builder in GRID questions and questions with quantitative input (NUMERIC and TIME). To filter rows in single and multiple-choice questions, you should specify this in the “answer control”.

Tip: If you want to filter other elements, e.g. a picture, you can simply place a graphic element within a “supplementary text” element and filter this element as described above.
