How to create a filter for a section

A filter may be also be applied to a section. If you filter a section, the filter will be a global filter for ALL questions in that section, i.e. you will NOT need to filter each question if you have set a filter on the section.

You MAY, however, add a narrower filter to any question in the same section. Hence if you have a filter on a “beer section” for “beer drinkers only” you can add a simple filter (e.g. gender is male) in a particular question in that section. The particular question will now be asked to “male beer drinkers” only.

To access the filter builder for a section:

1. Select the section. The section view will occur.
2. Select Filter: The filter builder will open, and you can specify the filter for the section.
