Introduction to questions and question types
There are many types of questions that you can create in Questionnaire Designer. In practice these types will cover all question types, also including questions with open answer option.
- Single choice question
- Multiple choice question
- Single Grid
- Multiple Grid
- Numeric
- Duration
All question types are shown in the tables below where you can see how the question type looks in the editor and how the same question is shown in a web-interview. You can change the style of the questionnaire selecting a different style sheet when you create the new questionnaire).

In order to change the question type from one to another:
- Select the question type in the editor window, and select from the drop down list.
- If you switch from single/multi to a grid question, column headers will automatically be added.
- Similarly, multiple columns will be removed if you switch from a grid question to single / multi
