How do I import data from SPSS (.sav)?

Note:

The SPSS file is sent via HTTP to a server hosted by MI Pro. The file is converted there to a Triple-S representation, and then sent back to you. After the conversion, the SPSS file is deleted from the server.

Start the Import Wizard either from the Project Screen or by clicking on the icon on the tool bar on the left

Once the Wizard has opened select SAV as the file type by clicking on the tab menu in the top left corner.

Click on the Browse for SAV file button and select the file you wish to import and then click on the next button.

Once the file is loaded you can then use the import wizard to further define your data set, like creating grids and cleaning up text.
