How to use Image Click Test - Positive and Negative
This question collect data on mouse clicks made by the respondent. The respondent can select both positive and negative elements of an image.
Note: This iQuest will only work on a multiple question with three open ended rows. The data rows will be used to store the following information
1st row = Click Data. This is a semi colon (;) delimited string of data records. Each data record is delimited by a colon (:) and contains the following information Page View Number, Click Number, X Co-ordinate and Y Co-ordinate.
2nd row = The number of clicks made by the respondent
3rd row = The number of times the respondent has view the page. This is useful if the respondent is allowed to move to previous questions.
Options
- Image URL - Use the Research Studio file manager to upload and select an image file. Alternatively paste in the URL of an externally hosted file.
- Positive Button - Use the Research Studio file manager to upload and select an image file to use for the button the respondent clicks to record positive clicks. Alternatively paste in the URL of an externally hosted file.
- Negative Button - Use the Research Studio file manager to upload and select an image file to use for the button the respondent clicks to record negative clicks. Alternatively paste in the URL of an externally hosted file.
- Undo Button - Use the Research Studio file manager to upload and select an image file for the button the respondent uses to undo a click. Alternatively paste in the URL of an externally hosted file.
Advanced
- Show data fields – This option is useful when testing this iQuest type, it shows the data fields below the image being tested.
- Debug – For advanced users only, this option will display JavaScript errors as they occur in an internet browser.
