Project Filter Manager
This is used for maintaining project filters that have been saved within Sample Manager for re-use in other prototypes and samples. This screen allows the saved project filters to be defined as ‘default’ or ’read-only’ if required. Project filters may also be renamed, copied or deleted.
From the Maintenance menu, select Project Filter Manager. If there are already project filters set up they will be listed.
To edit an existing project filter, select it either by clicking on its name, or by checking the box next to its name and then selecting Properties from the toolbar. The properties of the project filter will be displayed and changes can be made.
Field |
Description |
Name | Text |
Default filter | If checked, the project filter will be added to new samples by default. |
ReadOnly filter | If checked, the project filter cannot be removed from a sample or prototype once it has been added. This option may be used along with the Default option to ensure that a specified project filters is always used in samples. |
Project Filter Manager does not display the definition of a project filter. Currently, the only way of seeing the definition is to add the project filter to a sample or prototype in the filters tab of Sample Manager. For this reason, is it recommended that project filters are given meaningful names.
To copy a project filter, select it by clicking on the checkbox next to the name, then click on Copy in the toolbar. You must enter a unique name for the new project filter.
To delete a project filter, select it by clicking on the checkbox next to the name, then click on Delete in the toolbar.
