How to specify if a question will be included in data file (allocate)

Specify whether the question box will take part of the data model for the project. This attribute should be documented in draft print version. This attribute is very useful for showing respondents relevant instructions on printed questionnaires. With a question labeled include in data set=”no”, the question will show on the printed questionnaire but will not appear on the scan file or in the data file.

Values are:

• yes – Question will be included in the data file.
• no – Question will only be printed, not included in the data file.
