How to specify sub-question appearance – with or without numbering

You may also specify whether you want the numbering of the sub-questions to be shown on the printed questionnaire. This may be specified using the "Sub-question number" attribute. This attribute has a drop-down menu showing three values:

• Yes = Default value. But Question AND Sub-question number is printed on each sub-question (shown in example 1)
• No = Only the sub-question number is printed on each sub-question (shown in example 2)
• Empty = Neither question- nor sub-question-number is printed (example 3)

Note: Both in questionnaire logics and in the analysis part (Research Analyzer), the correct syntax should still be used, regardless of formatting; The syntax should include both question and sub-question number, e.g. \Q1.a=1
