Dimension Manager

This is used for maintaining named dimensions that have been saved within Sample Manager for re-use in other prototypes and samples.  Named dimensions can be renamed, copied or deleted. 

From the Maintenance menu, select Dimension Manager.  If there are already named dimensions set up they will be listed.  To edit the name of an existing dimension, select it either by clicking on its name, or by checking the box next to its name and then selecting Properties from the toolbar.  The properties of the named dimension will be displayed and changes can be made.

Dimension Manager does not display the definition of a named dimension.  Currently, the only way of seeing the definition is to add the named dimension to a sample or prototype within the dimensions section of the parameters tab.  For this reason, is it recommended that named dimensions are given meaningful names.

To copy a named dimension, select it by clicking on the checkbox next to the name, then click Copy in the toolbar.  You must enter a unique name for the new dimension.

To delete a named dimension, select it by clicking on the checkbox next to the name, then click on Delete in the toolbar.
