MARSC Activation web part
The web part MARSC – Activation allows a new user to confirm their registration details and complete the registration process.
Its properties are as follows:
Design
Alternative form
Can be used to select the alternative form that will be displayed by the web part. To manage these alternative forms, go to CMS Site Manager -> System tables -> User -> Alternative forms. Here you can create a completely custom form or modify the behaviour of a field e.g. set the regular expressions used to define the allowed format for user names.
Navigation
Redirect to URL
Specifies the URL of the page to which users will be redirected upon successful activation.
Extended settings
Authenticate after activation
Indicates whether the user should be authenticated automatically after activation.
Email settings
Notify administrator
Indicates if an e-mail should be sent to the administrator when a user successfully activates their registration. If the registration additionally requires an administrator’s approval, the notification uses the Membership - Notification - Waiting for approval e-mail template. If an administrator's approval is not required, the notification is based on the Membership - Notification - New registration template.
Administrator from address
Sets the e-mail address from which notification mails will be sent to the administrator if the Notify administrator property is enabled.
Administrator e-mail
Sets the e-mail address of the administrator to which notifications will be sent if the Notify administrator property is enabled.
Notify user
Indicates if an e-mail should be sent to the user when they successfully activate their registration. The notification uses the MARSC - Activate - Panellist e-mail template.
User from address
Sets the e-mail address from which activation email will be sent to the user if the Notify User property is enabled.
